Referred to as 'Subject Area' from:: ２　聴覚障害者である生徒に対する教育を行う特別支援学校; (1) 生徒の興味・関心を生かして，主体的な言語活動を促すとともに，抽象的，論理的な思考力の伸長に努めること。; (2) 生徒の言語力等に応じて，適切な読書習慣や書いて表現する力の育成を図り，主体的に情報を収集・獲得し，適切に選択・活用する態度を養うようにすること。; (3) 生徒の聴覚障害の状態等に応じて，音声，文字，手話，指文字等を適切に活用して，発表や生徒同士の話合いなどの学習活動を積極的に取り入れ，正確かつ効率的に意思の相互伝達が行われるよう指導方法を工夫すること。; (4) 生徒の聴覚障害の状態等に応じて，補聴器や人工内耳等の利用により，生徒の保有する聴覚を最大限に活用し，効果的な学習活動が展開できるようにすること。; (5) 生徒の言語力等に応じて，指導内容を適切に精選し，基礎的・基本的な事項に重点を置くなど指導を工夫すること。; (6) 視覚的に情報を獲得しやすい教材・教具やその活用方法等を工夫するとともに，コンピュータ等の情報機器などを有効に活用し，指導の効果を高めるようにすること。
