１ 幼稚部においては，生きる力の基礎を育むため，この章の第１に示す幼稚部における教育の基本を踏まえ，次に掲げる資質・能力を一体的に育むよう努めるものとする。

２ １に示す資質・能力は，第２章に示すねらい及び内容に基づく活動全体によって育むものである。

３ 次に示す「幼児期の終わりまでに育ってほしい姿」は，第２章に示すねらい及び内容に基づく活動全体を通して資質・能力が育まれている幼児の幼稚部修了時の具体的な姿であり，幼児の障害の状態や特性及び発達の程度等に応じて，教師が指導を行う際に考慮するものである。
