１　目標 公衆衛生に関する知識を習得させ， クリーニングを衛生的に行う能力と態度を育てる。
２　内容

３　内容の取扱い
(1) 内容の構成及びその取扱いに当たっては， 次の事項に配慮するものとする。
ア 内容の(2)については， 人と環境とのかかわり， 科学技術の発展と環境汚染， 環境保全の必要性などについて， 事例を取り上げて具体的に指導すること。
(2) 内容の範囲や程度については， 次の事項に配慮するものとする。
ア 内容の(2)については， 水， 空気， 日光や衣食住などへの関心を深め， 公害や環境汚染と環境衛生活動とのかかわりについて理解させること。
イ 内容の(3)及び(4)については，医学の進歩と高齢化の進展，疾病予防等の学習を踏まえ，感染症とクリーニングとのかかわりについて具体的に扱うこと。
ウ 内容の(5)については， 「クリーニング業法」 に基づく被洗物の区分， 消毒法と各種消毒薬の取扱い， 従事者の業務停止等を取り上げること。
エ 内容の(6)については， クリーニング業務に必要な環境汚染対策を重点的に指導すること。
