Referred to as 'Subject' from:: 第７　航海・計器; １　目標　船舶を安全かつ適切に航海させるために必要な知識と技術を習得させ，実際に漁業生産など海上業務に活用する能力と態度を育てる。; ２　内容; (1) 航海の概要; ア　航海の意義と沿革; イ　航海と航法; ウ　航海と計算; (2) 航海に関する情報; ア　航海と情報; イ　海図と航路標識; ウ　海流や潮汐《せき》の概要; (3) 計器と航法; ア　基本航海計器; イ　地文航法; ウ　電波航法; エ　天文航法; (4) 航海計画; (5) 海上交通関係法規; (6) 海事実務英語; ３　内容の取扱い; (1) 内容の構成及びその取扱いに当たっては，次の事項に配慮するものとする。; ア　内容の(3)については，実験・実習を通して，船舶の安全な航海について具体的に理解させること。; イ　内容の(4)については，内容の(1)から(3)までと関連付けて扱うとともにレーダ・自動衝突予防援助装置シミュレータや小型実習船を活用して，理解を深めさせるようにすること。; (2) 内容の範囲や程度については，次の事項に配慮するものとする。; ア　内容の(2)のアについては，航海に必要な情報の収集と活用の方法を扱うこと。イについては，電子海図，各種の航路標識，信号などを扱うこと。; イ　内容の(3)のアについては，航海計器の基本的な操作方法などを扱うこと。イについては，船位測定や衝突防止を中心として扱うこと。ウについては双曲線航法，衛星航法などを扱うこと。また，船位通報制度の概要を扱うこと。; ウ　内容の(5)については，海上衝突予防，海上交通安全及び港湾に関する法規を中心として扱うこと。; エ　内容の(6)については，航海に必要な海事実務英語や外地寄港地等における英会話について基礎的な内容を扱うこと。
